Universal Studios Japan is getting a Pokemon makeover! They’re planning a new area designed to fully immerse fans in the world of Pokemon.

Universal Studios Japan announced on January 22nd that they are creating exciting new Pokemon attractions. The park promises these experiences will be immersive and offer fans a unique way to interact with the Pokemon world.

The newly announced Pokémon project aims to create an incredibly immersive experience, engaging all five senses. It’s currently being developed for a first-of-its-kind launch in Japan.

Universal Studios plans to launch global Pokemon experience

Universal Studios Japan is planning to expand its popular Pokemon attractions, building on previous events and shows. While details are still being finalized, the company says this will be a significant move towards creating a complete Pokemon theme park experience.

Okay, so Pokemon just launched at Universal Studios Japan, and now they’re planning to bring similar, but unique, Pokemon stuff to all the other Universal parks worldwide! I’m super excited to see what each park does with it – hopefully, it’s not just the same experience everywhere.

Tsunekazu Ishihara, the President and CEO of The Pokémon Company, explained the significance of the announcement, noting both the long-standing relationship it builds upon and why the timing was chosen.

As a huge Pokémon fan, I was so excited to hear about the continued partnership with Universal Studios Japan! They’ve already created some amazing experiences like the NO LIMIT! Parade and those awesome Halloween shows. And with Pokémon turning 30 this year, it feels like the perfect time to launch something even bigger – it’s a really special milestone for all of us!

We want to bring the fun of Pokémon to life, both in the real world and in the digital one. This new project will let us create amazing theme park experiences that will surprise and excite Pokémon fans everywhere.

As of today, Universal Studios Japan hasn’t announced when the new Pokémon area will open or what visitors can expect. They have stated that more details will be revealed soon.
