Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen is currently showing the ‘Culling Game Arc’. Here’s information on where and when to watch Episode 4, plus a quick recap of the events from Episode 3.
Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen got a sneak peek at Season 3 of the anime last November when the first two episodes were shown in movie theaters.
So, I just saw Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution, and it was awesome! It basically filled in the gap between the Shibuya Incident arc and the Culling Game arc in the manga. And get this – it made over $40 million at the box office! Definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan.
As a huge fan of Greg Akutami’s manga, I’m so excited! Episode 3 is already out, and we’re getting Episode 4 this week – I can’t wait to see what happens next!

What happened in Episode 3?

In Episode 3, the sorcerers encountered Master Tengen, who explained the Culling Games. They then formed a strategy to either win the games or, at the very least, survive.
Okay, so at the end of last episode, we finally got down to meet Master Tengen, this ancient, super-powerful jujutsu sorcerer. Then, right at the start of this episode, he drops a bomb on us: the Culling Games aren’t just random chaos. Apparently, they’re designed to gather a massive amount of cursed energy and basically force Japan to evolve by absorbing it all. It’s a pretty wild explanation, honestly!
The entity currently possessing Suguru’s body is named Kenjaku. He’s tried to take over before, but failed. This time, however, things are different because Riko Amanai has died, Gojo is trapped in the Prison Realm, and Kenjaku has managed to take control of Geto’s body.
Players discover the Culling Games continue until all participants are eliminated, though new rules might offer a way to be released. There’s also a chance to unlock an exit, known as the ‘Back’, from the Prison Realm.
The sorcerers devise a plan to safeguard Tengen, enlist the help of Kinji Hakari, explore a Game colony, and acquire cursed tools.
If you’re as hooked on Jujutsu Kaisen as I am, you absolutely need to check out a rundown of the 10 toughest opponents Sukuna has taken down. It’s wild! And if you’re still reeling from all the shocking moments, there’s also a list detailing all the major character deaths in the series – be warned, it’s a bit heartbreaking!
