Get ready for Season 5 of Single’s Inferno! The creators say this season will be bigger and more exciting than ever. Don’t miss out on all the love and drama – mark the release date and time on Netflix now.
Since its debut in 2021, Single’s Inferno has become a hugely popular reality show on the streaming service. The show features a group of singles who are dropped on an island—called Inferno—and must survive and form connections with each other.
When two people connect on the show, they spend a night together at a fancy hotel called Paradise. At the end of each season, the remaining couples have the chance to leave together.
This season’s cast is the largest one yet, and the games will have some surprising new challenges. Episodes will be released in groups – see below for the schedule and what you can look forward to.
Single’s Inferno Season 5 Part 1 release date & time
The first four episodes of Single’s Inferno Season 5 will be available on Netflix starting Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 12am Pacific Time / 3am Eastern Time.
We’ve listed several timezones below so you know exactly when to tune in:
- 5am Brazil
- 8am UK
- 9am Central European Time
- 1:30pm India Standard Time
- 7pm Australia
- 9pm New Zealand
Netflix usually releases reality shows one or two episodes at a time, instead of all at once like its scripted series. This keeps viewers engaged for a longer period, instead of letting them finish a show in just a few sittings.
Netflix divides its shows into parts to create excitement with cliffhangers and unexpected plot twists, and to get people talking about them on social media – remember the drama around that swing in Season 4?
How many episodes are there?

While Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed it, sources indicate that Season 5 of Single’s Inferno will likely have 12 episodes.
The show started with just eight episodes in its first season, but as it became more popular, each new season had more. Season 2 had ten episodes, Season 3 had eleven, and Season 4 increased that to twelve.

What to expect in Season 5

Season 5 of Single’s Inferno promises even more drama with a larger group of contestants and a new twist to the popular ‘truth or drink’ game.
Producer Kim Jae-won recently announced that a truth or dare game will be a major focus during the first week of the show, according to Korea JoongAng Daily.
Just a quick heads-up: we’ve changed one of the rules this season. In the past, contestants could choose to take a drink instead of answering a question, but that’s no longer allowed.
This round, everyone was required to answer every question, which led to a lot of confusion. The consequences of this rule change were felt throughout the entire game.

Jae-won explained that they heard fan feedback and adjusted Season 5 to better meet viewer expectations. One major change is making Inferno Island feel even more challenging and unforgiving.
We aimed to make the Inferno level feel truly hellish, so we increased the difficulty of getting ready for it. We believe that overcoming challenges actually makes the experience more rewarding, like how love is stronger when it’s earned.
In another interview, Jae-won shared that the show now has a more diverse cast. He explained to Star News that after realizing the drawbacks of relying solely on social media for casting last year, he personally went out and scouted for talent.
The economy is really struggling right now, and it’s noticeably impacting how many people are out and about. I even went to popular spots where young people usually hang out on a Friday night, but they were completely empty.

We switched up our approach and created physical flyers. We posted them in places where we thought our ideal cast members – like gyms, hair salons, and restaurants – would hang out, then we waited to see what would happen.
The show’s hosts are the same as before: Hanhae, Dex, Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, and Kyuhyun are all back.
During the press conference, Kyuhyun mentioned that the pool scenes in Season 5 could be as memorable as the famous steamy scene between Dex and Seul-ki from Season 2.
According to one source, this season includes a particularly steamy pool scene – possibly the most provocative one the show has ever done. Viewers might want to be prepared for it whenever it appears.
