Mornye Best Teams In WuWa
I’ve been playing Mornye in Wuthering Waves, and while she’s designed to be a jack-of-all-trades support, she doesn’t quite measure up to supports like Verina and Shorekeeper when it comes to overall usefulness. That said, she really excels in certain team compositions where her healing and buffing abilities shine. I’ve put together a list of what I think are Mornye’s best teams in the game!
- Mornye Tune team: Mornye + Lynae + Iuno
- Mornye Mono-Fusion team: Mornye + Lupa + Galbrena
Mornye + Lynae + Iuno
Mornye is a valuable team member when paired with a powerful ‘Tune Breaker’ like Lynae. Lynae weakens enemies and sets them up for high damage, while Mornye boosts the team’s ability to build up ‘Off-Tune’ and provides general buffs, including a 25% damage increase with her special skill. Iuno excels as a primary damage dealer, benefiting from both Lynae and Mornye’s support. However, Iuno can be swapped out for any character who relies on ‘Resonance Liberation’ to deal damage.
Ideally, you should quickly activate Mornye’s Wide Field Observation Mode to get her buffs going and use her Outro Skill sooner. Don’t start battles with Mornye, as building up her Wide Field Observation Mode takes time. Instead, begin with Lynae to charge her Concerto Energy, which will both buff the team and activate Mornye’s Intro Skill. This allows Mornye to instantly enter Wide Field Observation Mode. From there, you can follow a standard battle rotation starting with Mornye and finishing with Iuno in Wuthering Waves.
Mornye + Lupa + Galbrena
Besides Tune Break teams, Mornye works well with Lupa to boost the damage of any Fusion-type character in Wuthering Waves. The goal is to fully utilize Lupa’s buffs, which are strongest with three Fusion characters on the team, while also benefiting from all of Mornye’s team-wide improvements. Because Lupa increases the Fusion and Basic Attack damage of the next character, Brant and Encore are excellent choices to be the main damage dealers. However, Galbrena is so powerful that she can also perform very well in this team, potentially even outperforming the others.
Mornye should lead the team’s rotation after each cycle. She quickly restores the team’s health and prepares them to re-enter battle. Beyond healing, she speeds up how quickly the team can disrupt enemy defenses. Most importantly, Mornye significantly boosts enemy damage taken by 40%, in addition to the 25% damage increase provided by her special ability.
Lupa contributes to the team even before showcasing her full potential. These team compositions, built around Mornye, should help any Fusion Resonator character perform as well as, or even slightly better than, the top damage-dealing characters in Wuthering Waves.
