Here are the results of the Buffalo Bills versus Denver Broncos game from the Divisional Round, as simulated in Madden 26. The NFL Playoffs are underway, with eight teams competing for a spot in the Super Bowl. The Bills, led by Josh Allen, previously defeated the Jaguars in the Wild Card round. The Broncos earned the top seed in the AFC and had a first-round bye, but now they face the Bills with only one team able to move on to the Conference Championship.
Bills vs. Broncos Divisional Round Results According to Madden 26
The latest prediction from Madden 26 is that the Denver Broncos will win against the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, with a score of 18-16.
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| #6 BUF | 0 | 7 | 3 | 6 | 16 |
| #1 DEN | 3 | 9 | 3 | 3 | 18 |
Wow, Will Lutz totally saved the day for the Broncos! He was on fire, making six field goals and really carrying us to a win. That 57-yard field goal right before the third quarter ended was insane – it put us up 15-10 and gave us so much momentum. I’m officially a Lutz fan!
The game was largely defined by strong defensive play from both sides. It wasn’t until the second quarter that the first touchdown was scored, a 45-yard run by James Cook III. After that, scoring stalled, and the only points came from two field goals by the Broncos, giving them a 9-7 lead over a struggling Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense.
Just before halftime, Josh Allen threw an interception that was caught by P.J. Locke. Locke ran the ball back to the 50-yard line, and then Will Lutz kicked a 57-yard field goal, increasing the team’s lead to 12-7.
Bills kicker Matt Prater added to the field goal exchange with a 43-yard kick in the third quarter. Despite this, Buffalo was still behind, and time was running short. Unfortunately for the Bills, a subsequent field goal by Lutz at the end of the quarter cancelled out Prater’s score.
Late in the fourth quarter, Lutz kicked another field goal, giving Denver an eight-point lead with just 2:44 left. This seemed to secure their win, preventing Buffalo from taking the lead. However, the Bills fought back with a touchdown pass from Allen to Brandin Cooks, bringing the score to 18-16. They then attempted a two-point conversion to tie the game, but Allen’s pass fell incomplete.
Denver successfully recovered the onside kick, and Bo Nix then took a knee to finish the game. This victory sends them to the Conference Championship, where they’ll face either the Texans or the Patriots.

That concludes our simulation of the Bills versus Broncos Divisional Round game in Madden 26. Thanks for watching, and we’ll have more simulated games for you soon!
We’re working on making our game simulations better in several ways. Currently, changes we make to CPU and player settings don’t seem to affect games where the CPU plays against itself. Also, the player rosters in Madden 26 have errors, with some players assigned to incorrect positions. Despite these issues, we’re still committed to improving the simulations.
