Pitt’s critically acclaimed first season was a standout TV show in 2025. It realistically depicted the intense, 15-hour shifts faced by staff in a typical American emergency room.
Just under a year after the first season, Season 2 is here! The first episode features many of the beloved original staff members, as well as some new faces, including Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, who is temporarily filling in for Dr. Robby.

The Pitt Season 2 Episode 2 release date & time
I’m so excited! The next episode of The Pitt, Season 2 Episode 2, is coming out on HBO Max this Thursday, January 15th, 2026. It’ll be available at 6pm Pacific Time or 9pm Eastern Time – I’ve already marked it on my calendar!
Currently, the only way to watch the show is through streaming, as it’s an HBO Max original. While the first season did air on TNT in December 2025, it’s unclear if the second season will be available on traditional television.
If HBO Max isn’t available in your country, you can still watch it with a VPN. You’ll need an active subscription, which you can purchase using a gift card or through services like Amazon Prime Video.
