In Hytale, getting stronger means finding better ores, upgrading your crafting stations, and using those new ores to make improved equipment. This guide will show you where to find all the different ores and the best places to farm them. Here’s a complete look at Hytale’s ore locations and farming spots.
How to Find All Ores in Hytale
Okay, so I’ve put together a guide to all the ores in Hytale! Below you’ll find where to find them and the best places to farm each one. Good news is you can get pretty much everything with an Iron Pickaxe – even Adamantite! Copper and Iron are easy, you can actually mine those with the pickaxe you start with. When I go mining, I always bring a horse to get around faster, some good weapons to deal with any mobs I run into, and tons of cooked food to keep my health up. And seriously, always bring a chest! It’s the best way to keep your ore safe if you happen to die – you can move them around easily, so you don’t lose everything you’ve mined.
Clicking on an ore name in the first column will show you a detailed guide on where to find it.
Here’s a helpful hint: Once you get an Iron Pickaxe, you can mine most ores. When you find a new ore, it’s generally better to use it to make weapons and armor rather than tools.
Generally, adamantite is considered superior to mythril, so if you’re having trouble locating mythril, consider focusing on adamantite instead.

That said, I’ve found some Mithril in the bottom layers of the Volcanic Islands (Zone 4 area) and also in caves beneath the Tundra biome |
I’ve also got some Mithril drops from the Volcanic Island mobs like the boss skeleton |
Clicking on any ore name in the list on the left will take you to a detailed guide for that specific ore. I’m currently working on updating the guide for Mithril and will add it as soon as I have more information. That covers everything in my guide to finding all ores in Hytale.
