Hey everyone! As a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack member, I’m super excited to finally be able to play Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance! It’s now available on the Switch as part of the Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics collection, so you can jump into the world of Tellius and experience this awesome game!

Originally released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance takes place in a world where humans and half-human shapeshifters called laguz have a long history of conflict. A fragile peace is threatened by new, dark forces attempting to reignite the old tensions. The fate of the world, Tellius, rests on the shoulders of Ike, a young mercenary, and his diverse group of allies.

This classic Fire Emblem game delivers the strategic, role-playing gameplay the series is famous for. Enjoy fully voiced cutscenes and detailed 3D battlefields, but be warned: the challenging combat system means fallen units are permanently lost! Carefully select your team, equip them with the right gear and abilities, and plan your moves to achieve victory with as few losses as possible.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is a subscription service that gives you a lot of extras. You get access to classic games from systems like GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo 64, as well as downloadable content and upgrades for games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom – all included in the price. Plus, you still get everything that comes with a standard Nintendo Switch Online membership, such as online multiplayer, a library of classic NES and SNES games, the Nintendo Music app, voice chat (on Nintendo Switch 2), and the option to buy special items like the GameCube controller!

Do you have what it takes to defeat your foes and restore serenity to the land?
