Even with the fresh location and storyline, the focus seems to be on the characters following the Path of the Elation, and we’re finally getting a good look at them. A Redditor, aliencreature9, shared some leaked footage from Dim that really highlights Sparxie. Seriously, the animations they’ve done for her – both when she’s fighting and just moving around – are incredible! You can tell HoYoverse put a ton of work into making her look amazing.

A standout moment in the video is the detailed animation for Sparxie’s Skill in Honkai: Star Rail. It’s one of the most complex Skill animations seen in the game so far. The animation, which depicts a full-scale virtual battle, is so elaborate that it could easily be mistaken for her Ultimate ability, but it’s actually just her standard Skill.

Sparxie’s animations are generally good, fitting the style of most turn-based RPGs. However, their skills are particularly impressive. Many online commenters have noted that Sparxie’s animations make the leaked animations for Yao Guang – originally shared on Reddit by Firestar3689 – seem lackluster in comparison.

Honkai: Star Rail Is Making Elation A Playable Path

It’s no surprise that Sparxie is predicted to be a fantastic teammate for Sparkle, particularly with Sparkle’s upcoming rework in Version 4.0. Sparxie is a powerful 5-star Fire character who follows the Path of the Elation. Although the core mechanic of the Elation path is still unknown, leaked details about Sparxie’s abilities from Honey Hunter World suggest she’ll heavily depend on Skill Points – which Sparkle can readily restore in Honkai: Star Rail.

Even though the Trailblazers’ new location might have some issues, the game is set to have a big year with lots of new content. This includes new characters and a completely new type of gameplay path. The character Sparxie demonstrates that HoYoverse is focused on improving both how characters play and how they look in Honkai: Star Rail. Whether future updates will maintain this level of quality remains to be seen.
