Players praise Embark’s response to cheating
I was so relieved to see Embark address the item loss issue! They sent a message in the game explaining that some players lost items because of cheating, but thankfully, everything’s been restored so we can all keep exploring Topside and continue our adventures.
I was really happy to read that the studio is dedicated to making sure the game is all about skill, working together, and having fun – not about anyone getting an unfair edge. They also thanked us for believing in what they’re trying to do, which is awesome!

So, Embark already put out a statement about the cheating problem, and they said they’re really focused on building tools and rules to stop cheaters and ban them when they get caught. Basically, they’re saying they’re on it!
