Okay, so I just finished playing the Ole Miss vs. Georgia Sugar Bowl in College Football 26, and wow, what a game! We’re in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoffs now, and it’s a battle to get to the National Championship. Georgia got a first-round bye, which is nice for them, but Ole Miss was coming in hot off a big win against Tulane. Still, only one of these teams is going to make it to the Fiesta Bowl, and it was a tough fight to see who it would be!
Ole Miss vs. Georgia Sugar Bowl Results According to College Football 26
College Football 26 predicts Georgia will win against Ole Miss with a score of 41-27, securing their spot in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| #6 MISS | 10 | 14 | 3 | 0 | 27 |
| #3 UGA | 14 | 10 | 7 | 10 | 41 |
The Rebels played competitively for the first three quarters, but their offense struggled in the second half. Georgia dominated the final 30 minutes with a 17-3 scoring run, winning the game and advancing to the next round.
Just like their first game this season, the Bulldogs struggled to stop Ole Miss’ offense in the beginning. Although Ole Miss lost, quarterback Trinidad Chambliss threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns. Most of his success came in the first half, with 252 yards and both touchdowns scored before halftime.
Georgia’s quarterback, Gunner Stockton, played steadily throughout the game and led his team to victory with over 300 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Nate Frazier of Georgia also had a great game. He ran for over 170 yards on 25 attempts, broke three tackles, and scored two touchdowns. His touchdown run late in the fourth quarter put Georgia ahead by two possessions.
Georgia’s defense was the true star of the game. After a rocky start, they completely contained Ole Miss’s high-powered offense in the second half. Considering Ole Miss typically scores over 37 points a game, holding them to just 27 was a significant accomplishment.
After their victory, the Georgia Bulldogs are heading to the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl. They’ll face either Ohio State or Miami in the Semi-Finals, and they need to win two more games to become National Champions.
