
Anthony Joshua, the professional boxer, was in a car accident in Nigeria. Sadly, two people died in the crash, but Joshua only suffered minor injuries.
On December 29th, boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a car accident in Ogun State, Nigeria. He was a passenger in a Jeep traveling on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway when it collided with a parked truck near Makun.
According to local news, two people died in the incident, but officials haven’t shared any information about who they were. Joshua received treatment for slight injuries and is doing okay.

Following his recent fight against Jake Paul in Miami over the holidays, 36-year-old boxer Anthony Joshua visited Nigeria. He celebrated there and shared photos of his time with family.

As a boxing fan, I have to say Joshua is a huge name – everyone knows him! He’s won multiple heavyweight world titles, which is incredible. Since he started his professional career back in 2013, he’s been the main event everywhere – in the UK, the US, and all over the world. He’s truly become a global star in boxing.
Okay, so thankfully it doesn’t look like his injuries are going to stop him from doing what he planned next. We haven’t gotten any official word from Joshua or his team other than that he’s okay, though. It’s a bit of a relief to hear, honestly.
