The publisher hasn’t yet said what caused the problem, or if any wrongly issued bans or currency changes will be fixed. It’s also unknown if players who took advantage of the issue while it lasted will be punished after everything is sorted out.

Rainbow Six Siege players are currently asked to hold off on playing until officials provide an update, as the issue is still developing.
