If you’ve made it to the Lahai-Roi area in Wuthering Waves, you’re probably a pretty experienced player! Beyond the main story and developing your characters, the game has a huge world to explore. You can find lots of valuable Astrites as you explore, but some are hidden and require you to solve puzzles to get them.
Every area features a unique puzzle hidden throughout, and they can be challenging. In Lahai-Roi, the primary puzzle is the Smartprint Cube Reboot. It begins simply, but it can become time-consuming as you progress.
How To Solve Smartprint Cube Reboot
Smartprint Cube Reboot puzzles start with a board featuring a box-shaped cutout. The goal is to fit the box piece into the hole. If you’re working with a rectangular box, it’s important to make sure it’s aligned correctly to solve the puzzle.
Use the direction keys to slide boxes around. Moving a square box doesn’t change its orientation because all sides are equal. But when you move a rectangular box, it will tilt, causing it to lean either to the side or up and down.
The main trouble with most of these puzzles is aligning the rectangular box perfectly with its hole.
As you play through the puzzles, you’ll encounter special tiles. Here’s how they work:
- The yellow tiles with scratches on them will break after any part of the box touches and moves away from them.
- On the other hand, the red tiles can block your path until you step on their respective button and clear them. For a rectangular box, you have to align it perfectly with the button.
- Tiles with arrows on them will throw the box two tiles ahead when you’re fully aligned. However, if the location where the box is supposed to be thrown is occupied, then nothing will happen and your box can stay on the arrow tile.
Okay, so you’ve got to figure out how to use everything the game throws at you to get past each of these puzzles. But don’t worry, if you get really stuck, I’ve included some hints that tell you exactly what direction to go in to solve them. I’ve put those down below, just in case!
How To Find Smartprint Cube Reboot
The Smartprint Cube Reboot puzzles are a key part of exploring Lahai-Roi, and thankfully, the map makes them easy to find. Here’s how to locate them:
- Head to the map and click on the compass on the top left regardless of the region you’re in. Here, click on the two half arrows on the top left again.
- This takes you to the screen where you can select the main areas on the left and all the mini-areas within at the center. Select the Roya Frostlands region and click on any of the mini-regions within.
- Once you choose the area, you’ll see a list of all the exploration mechanics in that region. If you see a Smartprint Cube Reboot here, you can click on it and press the track button.
- This will either show you the location of an uncovered cube if you’ve gone near it or show you a general area with a yellow circle. Arrive at the area and you’ll easily spot the cube puzzle.
Many of these puzzles are located high up, and you can use your motorbike to quickly and easily climb the cliffs to get to them.
All Smartprint Cube Reboot Puzzle Solutions
Roya Frostlands areas contain between one and seven Smartprint Cube Reboot puzzles. Importantly, these puzzles don’t appear in fixed locations. You’ll probably solve them in the same order no matter where you find them.
