TikTok users are deeply saddened by the passing of Grandma Belle, one of the stars of the popular “Jock and Belle Show.” She died after struggling with dementia.
Belle, who was 80 years old, and her husband Jock, married for 62 years, became beloved online for their cheerful TikTok videos, gaining over 2 million followers. She passed away on September 12th after a battle with dementia, according to her granddaughter Christina.
Christina shared the sad news in a heartfelt TikTok video, saying, “She passed away this morning, and I still can’t believe it.”
Christina described Belle’s death as a huge loss, but also admitted to feeling some relief that her suffering was over. She explained that Belle’s quality of life had deteriorated significantly, despite being a central part of Christina’s life. “I’m just glad she’s at peace now,” she said.

I first discovered Belle and Jock through TikTok, and honestly, I was immediately hooked! It all started when their owner, Christina, began sharing little snippets of their everyday life – just them playfully teasing each other and trying out those silly viral challenges. They have such amazing chemistry, it’s no surprise they quickly became everyone’s favorite couple to watch!
By summer, Belle’s health started to worsen. Christina shared with her followers in August that Belle had lost the ability to walk and was receiving hospice care. Shortly after, in early September, Christina announced that Belle had stopped eating.
When news of Belle’s passing spread, many people shared their sympathy. One fan especially remembered and appreciated her kindness and devotion to her grandparents, writing, “Seeing your love and care for Gram was truly special – thank you for letting us share in that.”
TikTok creator Joe Allington expressed his sadness, saying, “I’m so heartbroken about Belle’s passing. She was a beautiful soul, and heaven is lucky to have her. Sending my love to Jock.”
Others urged Christina to “tell Papa we all love him and are praying for you all.”
The family shared on Instagram that fans can remember Belle by planting a tree in North Carolina, creating a lasting tribute to her passion for nature and life.
Her family will scatter her ashes in the Blue Ridge Mountains, a place she loved and felt a strong connection to.
