Expression Games has just released the first gameplay trailer for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, a realistic, large-scale 50v50 first-person shooter based on the Vietnam War. Building on the success of their 2021 World War 2 game, Hell Let Loose, players will need to work closely as a team to overcome the challenges of the battlefield.
When Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launches, players will have access to six new maps. The developers at Expression Games describe these maps as featuring a variety of environments, including thick jungles, winding river deltas, and dangerous open spaces. Beyond ground combat, military helicopters will play a key role, serving functions like transporting troops, providing fire support, scouting enemy positions, and delivering supplies – making them incredibly useful in every match.
The game lets players fight at sea, with powerful ships like the famous US patrol boat and the PBR. Players can also use a network of tunnels built by the North Vietnamese army for sneaky attacks and to move troops around the map.
Players who enjoy historical accuracy will notice the impressive detail in this game, from the soldiers’ uniforms to the weapons they wield – everything is carefully researched and authentic. And for those who disliked the use of Creedence Clearwater Revival in previous games, rest assured – it’s absent from this trailer.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will launch in 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
