Super Robot Wars Y ver1.1.0 update patch adds Battle Rush stage and DLC1 preview episode

Just jumped into Super Robot Wars Y and there’s a new free update! They bumped the version up to 1.1.0, and it’s pretty cool. I’m really excited about the new Battle Rush missions – they’re a fun challenge. Plus, they added a bunch of new EX pilot skills, so I’m busy testing those out and building my team!

A key new addition is the special mission “A Smile on the Street Corner,” bringing together characters from Braiger, Big O, and Kamen Rider W/Double. All players can try this mission after completing “A Mission for Brave Heroes” (which unlocks Reideen and Great Mazinger in Chapter 2), even without purchasing the DLC. However, to permanently unlock the DLC units, you’ll need to purchase the DLC and complete the subsequent episodes.

Bandai Namco has announced a more precise release date for the first DLC, “Contract from the Darkness.” It will be available in Japan on November 21st at 8:30 AM JST (November 20th at 11:30 PM GMT). Players with Early Access will be able to download it two days prior, on November 19th or 18th at the same time.

Here are the English patch notes for update version 1.1.0. Super Robot Wars Y is currently available globally on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam.
