Detective partners Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are finding it tough to solve case after case jointly, which is starting to take a toll on them.
In the recently unveiled sneak peek of “Zootopia 2” at CinemaCon, it appears that the mismatched cops in the film have driven them to seek counseling. This therapy session is overseen by a quokka named Dr. Fuzzbee and features an elephant who frequently becomes startled by his mouse partner, as well as a deer who often argues with a skunk. For those who may need a refresher, Hopps is a rabbit and Wilde is a fox.
Disney additionally unveiled a scene showing Hopps and Wilde enjoying a getaway at a swampy resort, complete with hippos sliding on water slides and a juggling sea lion.
In addition to the other scenes, Disney presented one where Hopps and Wilde vacation at a marsh resort with hippos using waterslides and a performing sea lion.

Disney also divulged a sequence depicting Hopps and Wilde taking a holiday at a resort in the marsh, featuring hippos on water slides and a juggling sea lion.
The initial movie featuring a world inhabited by talking animals was a massive success, earning over $1 billion at the box office, leaving theater owners and executives, who predominantly attend CinemaCon, the industry conference where new footage was unveiled, ecstatic about a sequel. With Disney having recently recovered from a dip in their animated film production – releasing “Inside Out 2” and “Moana 2” in 2024, both of which were major hits – there’s speculation that “Zootopia 2” will follow suit in achieving similar success.
From the initial glimpse, it appears that “Zootopia 2” retains a significant amount of the humor and whimsical charm found in the original, brimming with visual jokes, wordplay, and a touch of emotional depth.
Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman reappear in their characters Hopps and Wilde, with Ke Huy Quan being added to the series as a new snake character. In addition, “Abbott Elementary’s” Quinta Brunson has been cast as Dr. Fuzzbee in the movie. Shakira will once again voice Gazelle, a famous pop star Thomson’s gazelle. Jared Bush and Byron Howard share the director’s chair for this production, which was penned by Bush.
The sequel to “Zootopia” will hit the big screens on November 26, 2025, which happens to be a particularly bustling season for cinemas. This timing suggests that Disney has great faith in the movie’s success.
