As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen countless indie games rise from obscurity to stardom. Zoochosis, with its intriguing narrative and eerie atmosphere, has certainly piqued my interest. Though it’s currently only available on PC, the tantalizing prospect of playing it on my trusty Nintendo Switch or Xbox is a siren song I can’t ignore.
In Zoochosis, players step into the shoes of a zookeeper, but soon realize that this isn’t your typical zoo. This brief horror game offers various conclusions, with Sarah playing a significant part in many of them. Currently, it can be played on PC, yet there’s a growing demand for console versions – PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Is a console release planned for the future?

It’s worth noting that as of now, developers have not disclosed their intentions regarding the transfer of Zoochosis to other platforms. Given its high demand, though, it seems probable. However, there are several aspects that need careful consideration in this situation. For instance, the sales performance of the game on PC. Although the title is fairly well-known, it appears a significant number of people prefer observing gameplay instead of playing themselves. This is evident from the 2.6k peak player count (according to SteamDB). Yet, it’s important to remember that this isn’t disastrous, especially considering Zoochosis is an indie game with a relatively small audience.
In essence, it seems unlikely that the console version will be released immediately, but we anticipate it’ll be developed eventually. The initial PC release might have been a strategic move to gather funds for future developments, including consoles. However, these are just assumptions. We urge patience and vigilance for official updates. Here’s hoping they arrive swiftly. And if you’re already playing on PC, enjoy it and don’t let the game consume you too much!
