At a Michigan rally over the weekend, I, as a movie-loving critic, found myself unexpectedly endorsing a political figure: none other than Donald Trump. Prior to my appearance, I had the honor of introducing two notable figures – Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a previous presidential contender, and former Representative Tulsi Gabbard. Quite an unusual experience for me!
Levi expressed on stage that our goal is to reclaim this nation, restore its strength, and improve its health. He supports Bobby and Tulsi, and anyone else backing President Trump, because he believes that out of the two options available, President Trump, with his leadership abilities, is the one who can lead us towards success. He will do so because he has Robert Kennedy Jr.’s backing, the support and wisdom of a former representative like Tulsi Gabbard, and the determination and knowledge needed to get the job done.
In his talk, the actor from “Shazam!” shared how his upbringing influenced his choices. He explained, “I was brought up in a traditionally Christian conservative household. We mostly followed this path.” His parents, initially Kennedy Democrats and later Reagan Republicans, instilled in him a balanced skepticism towards government and corporations that overstep their boundaries.
Levi shared that he’d prefer Kennedy as his top pick, but if Kennedy wasn’t available, then Trump would be his second choice, according to him.
For quite some time, I’ve been yearning for a politician who embodies my ideals and qualities I’d expect from a presidential candidate. This year, I came across Bobby Kennedy, and I was truly impressed, thinking he could be the one. If the world were ideal, I might have cast my vote for him. However, we don’t reside in an ideal world; instead, we live in a deeply flawed society that has been manipulated by many individuals who wish to lead us towards disaster. Our goal is to prevent that, correct?
Kennedy decided to halt his presidential bid in August, expressing his support for Trump as the candidate instead.
Deep within me, I no longer see a practical route to winning elections given this unyielding, manipulative control over media by those in power,” Kennedy stated previously. He went on to say, “The primary reasons that led me to contest the race initially and later prompted my departure from the Democratic Party and independent run, are the main factors compelling me to back President Trump now.
