As a gamer who has lost count of the countless hours I’ve spent binge-watching YouTube content, I find myself deeply moved by Billy LeBlanc’s story. The loss of his girlfriend, Natalie Clark, is a tragedy that no one should have to experience. Yet, in the face of such adversity, Billy has chosen to honor her memory by pursuing her dream for him – a podcast.
Prior to my beloved’s untimely passing due to food poisoning, she had expressed her desire for me to embark on a podcast journey. Now, I’m on the hunt for a fellow collaborator to help me realize her dreams and carry on our shared passion in audio storytelling.
Last month in July, popular YouTube personality Billy LeBlanc announced on social media that his long-term partner, Natalie Clark, had tragically passed away due to illness following the consumption of raw oysters.
After consuming the raw oysters along with him, LeBlanc also became unwell to the point of slipping into a coma for 12 days. He stated, “We ate oysters, we both felt sick for a while, and then I woke up only to find her gone.
After his girlfriend’s passing, the YouTuber shared on his channel that Clark had a final request: for him to keep producing content by launching a podcast.
Currently, this YouTuber is seeking a partner for a podcast, as he intends to realize Clark’s aspiration for him and advance his career. In essence, he shared with his 209K subscribers that “one of the things Natalie always encouraged me to do… was start a podcast.
He mentioned that he couldn’t conduct a podcast alone, but he had been seeking a collaborator for it. Therefore, if anyone knows how to produce a podcast remotely, he is currently residing in Louisiana and is open to collaboration.
In the absence of a co-host, LeBlanc decided to read out the questions that Clark had penned down for him during his inaugural podcast episode. To respect his girlfriend’s desires, he opted to publish his responses on YouTube instead.
The first question she wrote for him was, “Why has it been so hard to get you to do a podcast?” He then explained how having a co-host was a necessity, saying that the banter and feeding off of each other is what sells the idea.
While LeBlanc is on the hunt for an ideal co-host for a prospective podcast, he continues to give glimpses into his personal life by posting videos on YouTube.
As a gamer, I’ve got a solid fanbase, but if I ever decide to dive into podcasting, I’ll be going head-to-head with some heavyweights. Names like Haliey “Hawk Tuah” Welch, Joe Rogan, and Jake Paul are already dominating the scene. It’s going to be a tough fight!
