In their own backyard, a YouTube personality known as ‘Socks’ constructed an actual-world replica of Minecraft, featuring elements like a robotic canine and a nod to Technoblade.
Boasting more than 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube, Socks has managed to amass a substantial fanbase through only 34 uploaded videos on his channel.
A significant number of his content consists of short clips displaying his real-life activities, while he has published just a handful (six) longer videos on the channel since its inception almost three years ago.
On April 20th, Socks unveiled in a new video the impressive Minecraft structure he constructed in his garden, which included features such as a robotic canine, creepers, and other elements.
Socks builds a real-life Minecraft set
Feeling a tad restless, he shared his idea: creating a real-life version of Minecraft, as he kicked off the recording of this video.
Bystanders of the YouTube personality were taken aback by the structure’s design, yet their excitement spiked when a mechanical canine, resembling one from a video game, unexpectedly approached them.
Socks and his crew crafted full-scale replicas of their preferred items from the cherished sandbox game, featuring a water-holding well, a functioning bell, a farm inhabited by various animals, among other creations.
Inside the Minecraft village, they engaged in different games where they faced off against one another. Socks organized a treasure hunt, a contest for crafting skills, and a “locate the creepers” game as well.
Beyond all else, Sock’s depiction of a pig sports a regal crown – a nod to the well-known Minecraft YouTuber, Technoblade.
Over the past several weeks, there’s been no shortage of significant mentions of Technoblade. The latest instance being the release of the Minecraft film, where viewers noticed a nod to the YouTube personality, manifested as a crowned pig wandering across the screen.
In many videos, you often encounter references to Technoblade’s Minecraft character, which is a regal-crowned pig within the game.
The YouTuber died back in July 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
