During a live stream, YouTube personality Carmine ‘Kurrgas’ Stones found himself the victim of a robbery carried out by masked individuals as he was riding his electric bicycle.
Over the years, I’ve noticed an incredible surge in the appeal of In Real Life (IRL) content, particularly as creators delve deeper into sharing glimpses of their day-to-day lives beyond their homes.
On YouTube, under the username kurrgas (Carmine Stones), there are more than 40,000 subscribers who enjoy his videos about biking and music. However, an live-stream featuring him on an electric bike didn’t unfold as expected.
On April 1, 2025, while live-streaming, Kurrgas found himself confronted by two individuals wearing masks on a scooter. Just moments after, these individuals assaulted and stole from the YouTube personality, causing him to fall to the ground.

After approaching Carmine, the masked individuals requested a photo with him. Once the snapshot was taken, however, they forcefully pushed the YouTube personality to the ground.
Moments afterwards, the pair sped off from where the YouTuber stood, one man on a bicycle, the other on the scooter they had been using to approach him.
Following the incident, Kurrgas spoke to the Manchester Evening News, disclosing that he was upset rather than injured, using the phrase ‘p*ssed off.’ He explained, “They snapped a photo and before I knew it, I was being knocked off my bike. I didn’t sustain serious injuries, but I was definitely frustrated. I can’t deny that.
People who saw the event contacted the authorities, who managed to find and retrieve the bicycle a few hours afterwards.
He expressed his annoyance by stating that individuals like these tend to ruin things for everyone else, as he shared in a post on Instagram. Moving forward, if he doesn’t stop for you, it’s not due to being rude – rather, he is choosing not to take the risk of getting robbed again.
In the year 2023, while a Twitch streamer named shuls_of was having makeup applied, two individuals wearing masks barged in and held him up at gunpoint. Upon discovering that he was live-streaming, they snatched the camera and terminated the broadcast.
