After a wait of about three months, the reason behind YouTuber P2istheName’s demise has been disclosed since his body was discovered.
On March 14th, Philip Enewally, more commonly recognized by his YouTube alias P2istheName, was found in the mailroom of his residential building.
For several months, spectators pondered the cause behind the YouTuber’s demise, prompting the authorities to conclude that no foul play was involved.
As the time approached for his passing, Enewally was preparing to depart Los Angeles and settle in Atlanta instead. Unfortunately, the viewership on his content, which used to attract millions, had dropped significantly to between 20,000 and 60,000.
Three months after his passing on June 10th, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiners announced the cause of death for the 26-year-old individual.
P2istheName’s heart suddenly stopped beating
As per the medical expert, Enewally passed away due to abrupt heart failure, a situation where the heart suddenly ceases pumping, leading to improper circulation of blood.
The medical expert explained that Enewally’s unexpected heart issue stemmed from an excessive growth of a single papillary muscle.
In simpler terms, ‘Solitary papillary muscle hypertrophy’ refers to a specific type of abnormal heart thickening called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. This condition can increase the risk of sudden, unexpected heart-related deaths. However, in this context, they meant that the death was natural.
On March 14, Mr. Enewally was discovered unconscious at his home. The fire department pronounced him dead at 3:11 PM. An autopsy was performed on March 16 by a deputy medical examiner, and the cause and manner of his death were officially determined on June 10.
The YouTube personality frequently visited mail rooms for content creation purposes. His thriving fashion line, “dontmindus,” was well-known, often depicted in his videos as he packed and shipped merchandise to fans who purchased it.
In his last series of videos, P2 was often seen visiting mail rooms and shipping centers, and he eventually ran out of all his inventory of clothes.
In simpler terms, his last video titled “An Ordinary Evening with My Wealthy ‘Quirky’ Companions” was posted on February 24, 2025. Fans expressed their grief in the comments section.
