The creators behind inZOI aim to enhance their communication with gamers. Notably, they’ve mentioned encountering difficulties regarding the prospective launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
Over the past month, I’ve been deeply engrossed in this latest life simulation game that Krafton unveiled. To my delight, it has truly become a sensation! However, like any new release, there have been a few hiccups here and there – some of them quite peculiar. Fortunately, the team at Krafton has been swift in addressing these issues with timely updates.
In their wrap-up post for the initial month of inZOI, the developers have disclosed plans for a regular monthly list detailing “acknowledged problems” as well as a lineup of presentations showcasing upcoming content. These events are set to debut in May and August (“inZOI @”). Additionally, these presentations will feature live question-and-answer sessions.
Apart from discussing the game’s development, Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim also expressed gratitude towards the players for backing their project from the inZOI Team’s point of view.
As a game developer on the inZOI project, I must admit, this journey has been uncharted territory for my team and me. We’ve dived headfirst into a genre that was previously unknown to us, and along the way, we’ve experimented, made mistakes, learned, and collaborated extensively. It’s been an enlightening process with plenty of opportunities for growth.
We don’t view you as simple players but as valued partners who share our vision. Together, we traverse this path, united as one team. Your unwavering support and passion fuel our drive to innovate and improve. You are the reason we keep pushing forward.
Absolutely, we understand that the journey towards completing this game won’t be simple, but we are determined and ready to take it one stage at a time.

Indeed, there’s a certain joy in seeing your creations accepted by the world, but it can also be painful when they are not. Yet, this pain might just be an integral aspect of being a creator. In fact, I would argue that it’s a kind of pain that’s worth enduring.
Regardless, we’ve only made it this far thanks to you. Thank you once again for supporting inZOI.
Some online users are hypothesizing that the unveiling of enhanced communication might be due to a decline in active Steam gamers, as the peak daily user count over the past week has been approximately 4-5 thousand. While this is a reasonable figure, it’s also a substantial decrease compared to the first day’s popularity of inZOI, as indicated by SteamDB.
To clarify, it’s important to note that the discussion revolves around an early release of a single-player game, specifically Baldur’s Gate 3. Following its launch on Steam Early Access, the game did experience a decrease in player numbers, as expected with such releases.
Is Switch 2 lacking power for inZOI?
Currently, “inZOI” is exclusively available for PC through Steam’s Early Access. But fret not, the developers have already confirmed their intentions to bring the game to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Following the unveiling of Nintendo Switch 2 in April, speculation about its potential release on this platform has arisen as well.
It appears that bringing the game inZOI to Switch 2 may necessitate some very sophisticated optimization due to the current graphics capabilities of the Nintendo console being slightly less powerful than the minimum requirements specified by Krafton for their title, as revealed by VideoGamer (via Dual Shockers).
According to non-official sources online, it appears that the NS2 GPU system might be stronger, enabling a potential port of the game inZOI. Additionally, there’s a possibility that the game may be improved with better optimization in the future. The team is aiming to expand their reach to various platforms, and the upcoming console successor, despite some controversy over Nintendo’s choices, is garnering significant attention.
Ultimately, the strength of the second Switch and the advancements made by the developers of inZOI regarding performance will significantly impact the game’s success when it is launched beyond Steam.
