A new game called Your AI Slop Bores Me lets you challenge AI and even compete with it for its job.
Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming part of everyday life. For some, tools like ChatGPT help with simpler tasks at work, while others are finding AI, such as Claude, taking over their jobs.
A new website and game called Your AI Slop Bores Me lets you challenge AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok by creating your own deliberately confusing or nonsensical prompts – essentially, ‘AI slop’.
This game offers a unique twist: instead of fearing AI, you get to be the AI. It’s designed for players who aren’t necessarily thrilled with artificial intelligence.
What is Your AI Slop Bores Me?
The game has quickly become popular, created by programmer Mihir Maroju. He explained to FastCompany that he developed it because he was bothered by the increasing amount of AI-generated art.
The game’s premise is also cleverly designed. It challenges players to ‘save humanity by taking AI’s jobs’ in a world where artificial intelligence threatens employment.
Honestly, when I want answers, I can either bother a real person and get something kinda messy and imperfect, or I can just pretend I’m the AI and come up with the answers myself. It’s like playing a role!
This game feels similar to Skribbl or Draw With Friends, but it’s more flexible. You don’t always have to draw – you can answer questions with text if you prefer, or if the game asks for it.
It’s become quite popular online, so you might have to wait in a queue with thousands of other players before you can start pretending to be the AI.
WikiGacha isn’t the only online game gaining popularity right now. This unique game uses Wikipedia articles to create trading cards, and players are enjoying the challenge of building the most unusual collections they can.
