For approximately 15 years, LEGO has partnered with Marvel, and their MCU sets are some of the finest produced by the company. Even though they now collaborate with numerous licenses like LEGO “Bluey” and “One Piece”, the LEGO Group consistently guarantees that characters such as Spider-Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and others receive notable releases annually.
Since its initial launch in 2012 with the “Avengers” series, up to the upcoming “Fantastic Four: First Steps,” numerous memorable scenes and locations from the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been recreated as Lego sets. Here are the top 10 MCU sets that successfully translated those movie moments into miniature plastic models.
The MCU’s Top 10 Best Lego Sets
76125: Iron Man: Hall of Armor
As a cinephile, I’ve always been in awe of Tony Stark’s underground wonder, his Hall of Armor nestled beneath the grandeur of his Malibu mansion. It’s home to some of the most iconic Iron Man suits ever created, and now, it seems, it’s found another life as a LEGO masterpiece! Over the years, this extraordinary collection has been meticulously recreated in LEGO blocks no less than six times.
Among all similar products, the standout choice is the 76125 Iron Man: Hall of Armor. This remarkable set boasts a versatile modular design, enabling constructors to extend their display by adding extra suit podiums either above or alongside the main build.
A well-equipped wardrobe of suits wouldn’t be whole without a few costumes to add to the collection, and fortunately, Hall of Armor provides just that. The set includes not only Mark 50 from Infinity War and two Outriders, but also exclusive Minifigures for the Mark 1, Mark 5, and Mark 41 armor suits. To make it even more enticing, a buildable Igor suit from Iron Man 3 is included, allowing Tony to create some mischief with it.
76088: Thor vs. Hulk: Arena Clash
In a refreshing twist for the Thor series, the film “Thor: Ragnarok” brought vibrant, lively hues, stylish costumes, and an unprecedented battle between two Marvel superheroes to life.
76088: Thor vs. Hulk: Arena Clash brilliantly embodies every aspect with a lively colosseum designed, complete with a throne for the Grandmaster and doors for the Hulk to smash open. As for our green-skinned friend, Bruce Banner is meticulously crafted in his Gladiator armor, thanks to an exceptional mold detail.
In a similar fashion, other Minifigures receive comparable treatment. Thor equips two swords and sports an Asgardian-style helmet, Loki dons blue robes reflecting his on-screen character, and a Sakaarian Guard is added for additional fun. Similarly, Arena Clash can be expanded if several sets are combined, resulting in a fully enclosed replica of Sakaar’s most epic battlefield when assembled.
76051: Super Hero Airport Battle
As someone who appreciates the artistry and detail that goes into creating LEGO sets based on iconic movie battles, I must say that while the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” airport battle scene in LEGO Marvel’s 2025 wave is undeniably impressive, the 2016 version remains unrivaled in my book. The original set truly captures the essence and intensity of that epic showdown between friends turned foes, and it will always hold a special place in my collection.
76051: The Super Hero Airport Battle compresses the fight of Earth’s Strongest Champions into an enjoyable set, featuring the Quinjet from the original scene where Captain America and Winter Soldier are speeding towards it, amidst airport construction buildings.
The standout piece from the collection is the constructable Giant-Man figure, designed to resemble a large Minifigure. Additionally, you’ll find some of the top iterations of both Team Cap and Team Iron Man characters that fans have encountered so far; unfortunately, the 2025 reinterpretation didn’t measure up.
76192: The Guardians’ Ship (The Benatar)
From a different angle, the revamped version of an earlier spacecraft, 76192: The Guardians’ Ship, surpasses the original beyond measure. In sync with the premiere of Avengers: Infinity War in 2018, a refreshed Benatar model was launched; however, when LEGO creators chose to reimagine this spaceship in 2021, they pulled out all the stops.
Using the meticulous craftsmanship typical of Star Wars’ Collector Series sets, which is reportedly going to make the next one the costliest LEGO set ever, the Guardians’ Ship has been designed with exceptional attention to detail and skillful use of parts that truly reflects the Benatar in both its interior and exterior.
Discussing the inside area, although it may seem compact, it’s brimming with Easter eggs and intricate details – like a nod to Gamora who mysteriously vanished at the end of “Avengers: Endgame.” Although she isn’t physically present in the setup, the other figures brilliantly fill the void, sporting their amazing costumes from “Endgame.
76191: Infinity Gauntlet
Based on the emblem of the entire Infinity Saga, the LEGO set 76191 – Infinity Gauntlet, has been designed meticulously to reflect the immense power and grandeur associated with Thanos’ mighty weapon. Fortunately, it accomplishes this goal effectively.
Wrapped in radiant gold LEGO figurines, the Infinity Gauntlet sparkles as brilliantly as its on-screen counterpart. Equipped with removable Infinity Stones and bendable fingers, fans can now mimic Thanos’ famous snap, erasing half of existence from reality… or choose to reenact alternative hand gestures if they prefer.
If you like something with a deep red hue, there’s a matching glove available; LEGO launched the Nano Gauntlet a year following the release of the Infinity Gaantlet, and it boasts the same level of intricate detailing as its golden version.
76042: The SHIELD Helicarrier
Despite being among the biggest LEGO Marvel collections ever launched (set number 76042 – The SHIELD Helicarrier), it adopts a more compact design compared to standard MCU kits, aiming to cram in as many intricate details as feasible.
The unique layout of the runway showcases its beauty and provides an ideal spot for positioning the mini Quinjets, automobiles, and SHIELD personnel. A hidden mechanism inside rotates all the turbines simultaneously, making it possible to move this gigantic structure effortlessly while ensuring that all engines are functioning perfectly.
In addition to the action figures themselves, this set comes packed with a special Minifigure stand emblazoned with the SHIELD logo. You’ll find Hawkeye, Captain America, Nick Fury, Black Widow, and a unique character – Maria Hill – all included. Interestingly enough, Maria Hill is still an exclusive figure only found in this particular set at present.
76286: The Milano Spaceship
76192: The Guardians’ Ship paved the way for Marvel’s grand-scale spaceship designs, but 76286: The Milano Spaceship took this concept to new heights in every imaginable aspect.
The Milano boasts a striking combination of vibrant orange and blue body that’s simply stunning, complemented by the sleek design of its cockpit and wings. Although the interior space is compact, similar to the Benatar, it offers an interesting Easter egg feature – a video call option with the character Yondu.
1) In this set, the main Minifigures are based on their characters from the original “Guardians of the Galaxy” film, wearing red Ravager outfits. To round off the Guardians’ spaceship trio, fans would love an enhanced version of The Bowie figure. Since the spaceship received a smaller LEGO set in 2023 for the release of “Vol. 3”, it’s only natural to expect an upgraded Bowie too!
76361: Spider-Man Final Battle
It took a while for a suitable LEGO set to come out for the iconic film “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, but it was definitely worth the wait.
360-degree model showcasing Statue of Liberty’s head (item number 76361): “Spider-Man Final Battle” diorama offers an interactive setting where builders can strategically position characters in various action poses throughout the display. The diverse Minifigure collection includes all three Spidermen, along with some friends and foes for added drama.
What’s needed to complete the picture are Sandman and Lizard; it’s great that LEGO launched a matching set featuring these characters to finish off the collection nicely.
Enthusiasts have missed out on Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman scenes for quite some time, but a recent whisper might hint at a project under development that mirrors Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man 2”.
76218: Sanctum Sanctorum
LEGO revolutionized its Marvel theme by introducing modular buildings, meeting fans’ long-standing desire for accurate representations of significant Marvel Universe locales. These connected sets, designed for showcase alongside each other, were LEGO’s response to the call from enthusiasts.
76218: Sanctum Sanctorum was the first model built based on a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, faithfully recreating Doctor Strange’s familiar surroundings. Towering at three stories, this structure includes a ground floor foyer, a staircase leading to a compact library with a cozy seating area, and an attic brimming with mystical trinkets and oddities.
The theme of this collection is drawn from “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which means it combines characters from both films. Additionally, you’ll find a few see-through pieces in the mix, enabling builders to stage figures near the set’s impressive outer walls.
76269: Avengers Tower
The size of something isn’t necessarily indicative of its quality, but in this case, it certainly is. The Avengers Tower has become the largest LEGO Marvel set ever produced, boasting more than 5,000 pieces and 22 characters all crammed into one colossal model.
This set could be seen as an affectionate tribute to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It meticulously replicates Avengers Tower’s distinctive shape, and each level contains a nod to a scene from the series. From Captain America battling his counterpart to Ultron’s activation, the building experience is filled with references that embody the essence of the MCU.
The variety spanned by the MCU within this collection is so vast that it encompasses not just prominent figures such as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, but also lesser-known characters like Helen Cho and Alexander Pierce in the Minifigure lineup.
Absolutely, this set pays tribute to the mastermind behind the franchise, Kevin Feige, who serves as the president of Marvel Studios. By including a Minifigure of him, it honors not only the on-screen action but also the individuals off-camera who orchestrated the entire production.
