FromSoftware’s Nightreign studio has unveiled another playable character for the upcoming online spin-off of their 2022 blockbuster, Elden Ring. This new character is called Ironeye and comes equipped with a bow, agile parkour abilities, and flashy moves. Witness them in action in the trailer above.
Although the clip is short, it shows the character wreaking havoc on adversaries from afar by firing a volley of arrows simultaneously, scaling buildings to ambush foes in mid-air, and even causing enemies to stumble if they’re struck from behind. A notable move hints at an ability to shoot arrows that pierce multiple opponents, maintaining their velocity and force as they pass through the first enemy.
At its launch, the multiplayer mode will feature eight characters ready for play. Four of these have already been unveiled during the recent beta test – they include the Wylder, Guardian, Duchess, and Recluse. As for the remaining four yet to be disclosed, we’ve caught glimpses of an elderly man armed with a massive axe and another character with a katana in prior trailers.
