In the upcoming version 3.1 of Honkai: Star Rail, it’s been hinted that Herta’s Store within the Simulated Universe could receive a free-to-play update. This should alleviate the challenges faced by players who invest in Remembrance characters. As of now, the game is only on version 3.0 and players are just starting to explore the world of Amphoreus, with new Amphoreus characters being introduced. Future updates might even make some of these characters playable. Additionally, a new playable Path called Remembrance has been added in this update.
In the current setup, Remembrance is portrayed by two distinct characters: the Trailblazer of Remembrance, accessible to players venturing into the Amphoreus narrative, and Aglaea, a high-tier, premium unit drawn from a limited-time banner. Although these two characters tread different paths, they both possess a unique trait characteristic of Remembrance entities – the capacity to summon memosprites. Future updates in Honkai: Star Rail may introduce more Remembrance characters, but Version 3.1 might bring an improvement to one specific aspect of them.
New F2P Remembrance Light Cone Has Leaked For Honkai: Star Rail 3.1
Memory’s Curtain Never Falls’ Ability Is Detailed
Based on the leaked info by a source known as Dim, it’s expected that a new Light Cone called “Memory’s Curtain Never Falls” will be introduced to Herta’s store within the Simulated Universe when Version 3.1 is released. This leak was marked as “Reliable” on Reddit and has also been mentioned on Honey Hunter World. Interestingly, the artwork for this potential character equipment aligns with the style of Free-to-Play Light Cones available from Herta’s Store in Honkai: Star Rail.
Based on the leaks, it appears that the Light Cone’s effect enhances the user with a 6% Speed boost and amplifies the damage dealt by allies by 8%, lasting for three turns. This effect is active at Superimposition level 1 (S1ho). Since this Light Cone is free-to-play and can be enhanced using Superimposer, the bonuses could potentially be even greater. In Honkai: Star Rail, it’s mentioned that when Memory’s Curtain Never Falls is superimposed to its maximum level (S5), it grants a 12% Speed increase to the user and amplifies the damage dealt by allies by 16%, also lasting for three turns.
Leaked Remembrance Light Cone In Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 May Be Versatile
Memory’s Curtain Never Falls May Serve Aglaea & Remembrance Trailblazer
As a fervent admirer, I must admit that while the leaked information suggests the upcoming F2P Remembrance Light Cone from Herta’s Store might not rival the potency of a top-tier 5-star Light Cone like Aglaea’s Time Woven Into Gold, it remains an impressive choice for players eager to amplify their Remembrance characters’ capabilities. If the leaks hold true, Memory’s Curtain Never Falls could prove to be a versatile 5-star Remembrance Light Cone, catering equally well to both the Remembrance Trailblazer and Aglaea in Honkai: Star Rail. For those who may not have Time Woven Into Gold yet, Memory’s Curtain Never Falls could offer Aglaea a significant SPD boost, making her even more formidable on the battlefield.
In Honkai: Star Rail, Aglaea’s abilities heavily depend on SPD. The leaked Free-to-Play Remembrance Light Cone boosting SPD should aid in supplementing this dependency. Since Aglaea is primarily a damage dealer, her team’s damage output could significantly improve in combat due to the DMG increase for her allies. However, the SPD bonus for the Remembrance Trailblazer might not be as significant, but it could enhance their ability to heal Mem, such as their memosprite, more effectively. The rumored DMG bonus also aligns well with the Remembrance Trailblazer’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail.
There’s some doubt about how effective the leaked Free-to-Play (F2P) Remembrance Light Cone will be in the game as more Remembrance characters are introduced, given that their abilities and scaling can differ significantly. The bonus Speed (SPD) provided by Memory’s Curtain Never Falls might not benefit a future Remembrance unit, and the Damage (DMG) bonus given to allies may not be sufficient to warrant its use as the game progresses. Nevertheless, this leaked F2P 5-star Remembrance Light Cone is crucial for Honkai: Star Rail, and it appears that it’s going to be added to the game sooner rather than later.
More Remembrance Light Cones Need To Be Added To Honkai: Star Rail 3.1
Players Require More Options For Their Builds
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my thoughts about the potential introduction of more Remembrance Light Cones, even if they are 4-star items, in Honkai: Star Rail. Although the rumored free 5-star Remembrance Light Cone sounds appealing for our current Remembrance characters, I strongly believe that the game could greatly benefit from an increase in these valuable items.
The reason being, despite the recent release of Remembrance as a playable Path, it has already shown significant growth, much like all the other seven Paths before it. However, considering the sophistication of the combat mechanics and the challenging nature of certain activities within the game, it’s crucial that our character builds are optimized to their fullest potential.
More Remembrance Light Cones would not only cater to the growing community but also ensure a balanced and engaging gaming experience for all players.
To achieve this, players require dependable High Beacons to use. Acquiring 5-star High Beacons isn’t simple, given the substantial amount of Luminous Amber players must expend to get them. Therefore, it’s usual for free-to-play (F2P) players to rely on 4-star High Beacons for character development. At present, Honkai: Star Rail only has three 4-star Commemoration High Beacons available. The benefits they provide are compatible with the current Commemoration characters, but this may not last forever.
If a Remembrance character’s growth stat is DEF, and there aren’t any 4-star or free 5-star Remembrance Light Cones that boost DEF, it might be very challenging to optimally develop the unit without compromising its full potential. This difficulty may discourage players aiming for top-tier teams from using Remembrance characters if they haven’t acquired signature 5-star Remembrance Light Cones tailored to each of their characters.
Absolutely, with each new update adding patches, HoYoverse plans to keep improving Remembrance so that it remains current alongside other combat paths. Right now, Remembrance isn’t at its peak value due to limited characters and Light Cones, but with more updates and some attention dedicated to Remembrance in Honkai: Star Rail, we can hope for its growth and increased competitiveness.
