As we step into June, the warmth outside is growing, mirroring the escalating excitement in the realm of streaming entertainment. This month, we’ll see revivals of beloved series that have been absent for a decade, along with an array of fresh movies. With so many options, you can easily find ways to cool down indoors without moving from your comfortable couch.
This week, you can find some top-notch content ranging from the first season of Phineas & Ferb in over a decade to the latest installment in the Predator series. Let’s take a peek at the exciting shows and movies available on your preferred streaming service!
Stick – June 4 (Apple TV+)
Enthusiasts of golf and humor might be eagerly anticipating next month’s release of Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix, but if you’re truly fond of these genres, you could also enjoy checking out Stick, a fresh series now streaming with an Apple TV+ subscription. In this show, Owen Wilson plays the role of a disgraced golf professional who gets a second chance at greatness by mentoring a promising young talent.

Ginny & Georgia, Season 3 – June 5 (Netflix)
As a dedicated movie buff with a Netflix subscription, I can’t help but share my excitement about the long-awaited return of “Ginny & Georgia.” After captivating audiences worldwide during its first two seasons, it was an unexpected yet thrilling move when Netflix decided to renew this engaging comedy-drama series for not just one, but TWO more seasons! This week marks the arrival of Season 3, and I can hardly wait to see Georgia face trial for a murder charge. The anticipation is killing me!

Predator: Killer of Killers – June 6 (Hulu)
Director Dan Trachtenberg demonstrated his deep familiarity with the Predator series by creating the outstanding movie Prey, initially released on Hulu. Impressed by this work, he was subsequently tasked with making two more Predator films. The upcoming live-action film Predator: Badlands is slated for release in 2025, but fans can pass the time more comfortably until then with the new animated anthology film Predator: Killer of Killers, which is also accessible to Hulu subscribers.

Phineas and Ferb, Season 5 – June 6 (Disney+)
Hey Ferb, I’ve got a great idea for today! It’s been a decade since Phineas and Ferb Season 4 wrapped up, but thanks to streaming services, no series really disappears completely. The long-awaited Phineas & Ferb Season 5 is now available on Disney+, promising all the wacky excitement of the first run. As always, Phineas and Ferb are up to their usual antics, driving their sister mad, while their pet platypus plots against the villainous Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

STRAW – June 6 (Netflix)
Every time Taraji P. Henson stars in a movie, film enthusiasts should pay close attention. In her latest production, “Straw“, directed by Tyler Perry, Henson portrays a single mother who is falsely accused of bank robbery. This suspenseful film appears to be a challenging view, but given the caliber of her acting, it’s likely we won’t want to skip this performance.

Ocean With David Attenborough – June 8 (Disney+)
When a nature documentary narrated by David Attenborough is released, people who typically avoid such programs often become curious. The latest installment of Attenborough’s extensive series centers around our oceans and potential methods for their preservation.
There’s even more to look forward to with streaming services this coming June! Drop by next week, and we’ll guide you towards the series and films that you certainly wouldn’t want to skip.
