Movies like “Longlegs”, “A Quiet Place: Day One”, “Smile 2”, and even the remake of “Nosferatu” were blockbuster successes, but none could compare to the phenomenal achievement of “Terrifier 3”. Directed by Damien Leone, this sequel astoundingly recouped its budget a staggering 45 times over, surpassing all predictions and establishing itself as one of the most financially successful horror films of the year. Now, fans can look forward to the continuation of this terrifying tale in “Terrifier 4“.

At Texas Frightmare Weekend recently, Leone was questioned by YouTube content creator Cris Parker (of 3C Films) about offering fans a glimpse into what’s coming in Terrifier 4. Rather than giving a small taste, Leone disclosed a substantial piece of information, indicating that the upcoming sequel will kick off with a major surprise:

Horror enthusiasts have been yearning for over six years to discover the genuine origins of Art the Clown, so hearing that we’ll find out immediately in Terrifier 4 is the most exhilarating news ever for fans who have been guessing about his past. Some theorize he’s a demonic entity, while others speculate he was once human and revived by malevolent powers. At last, we’re going to receive a conclusive response, and we can hardly contain our excitement to see what Damien Leone has in store for us.

When Does ‘Terrifier 4’ Come Out?

Although there’s anticipation about uncovering Art the Clown’s backstory in Terrifier 4, remember that it won’t be gracing theaters any moment now. Back in January, Leone hinted that the script was being worked on, suggesting it’s only just beginning its journey through development. However, he did hint that the film will deliver an epic, terrifying, thrilling, emotional, and fulfilling finale to the Terrifier series.

In essence, Terrifier 3 significantly elevated the narrative quality within the franchise. The audience was not only showered with gruesome scenes, but also delved deeper into Sienna and Jonathan’s lives, exploring how the events portrayed in Terrifier 2 impacted them over the years.
