Her heart lies in theater, and it showed when she transformed into Glinda from Wicked. It’s not every day you see a girl who can make losing one’s virginity seem like a secondary dream to playing Glinda, but that’s Ariana for you!
Ariana Grande, being a true theater enthusiast at heart, couldn’t resist showcasing her vocal talents during her opening monologue on SNL, having landed her cherished role as Glinda in Wicked. “Every theater kid dreams of playing either Glinda or Elphaba,” she quipped, “though their second dream is to lose their virginity, but their first love is always Wicked.” Making a jest about fellow theater kids being known for their amorousness. Despite not being the musical guest of the night, she gave renditions of Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus songs, keeping her impressive vocal range under wraps – singing is just another day at the office for her! Her impressions were also on display, especially reminiscent of her Jennifer Lawrence sketch from her previous hosting stint.
