Briarcliff Entertainment is giving away free tickets to the movie Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, hoping people will experience something positive from the growing impact of artificial intelligence.

Briarcliff is asking people to share their experiences of being overlooked or replaced at work in the name of company progress. They announced on social media that anyone who shares their story will receive a free pair of tickets.

What director Gore Verbinski says about the AI threat

Gore Verbinski’s new film, ‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die,’ marks his return to directing after nearly ten years. He decided to take on the project because he’s concerned about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence.

I was really excited to hear Verbinski say he feels this movie needs to be released now, and especially that he wants people to experience it with an audience. It feels like he really believes it’s a film best enjoyed together, and I totally get that!

We asked Verbinski what he thought about AI, and he said it’s something we can’t avoid. He believes it’s coming whether we like it or not, and while he’s both eager and worried, he also finds it frightening. He compared it to the theme of their film, suggesting people can choose to ignore AI, fear it, or embrace it and adapt.

Things are changing quickly, and I believe we’re on the verge of a major shift. Considering humanity’s history of roughly three thousand years, it feels like we’re passing into a new era.
