The release of Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is in three days. On March 20, a new Ubisoft game will hit PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. There is relatively cheap way to play AC: Shadows on day one.
Assassin’s Creed: Shadows on Ubisoft Plus Premium
To play “Assassin’s Creed: Shadows” at its lowest cost when it launches, consider subscribing to Ubisoft Plus Premium. This subscription service is accessible on PC via the Ubisoft Connect app and on Xbox Series X and S consoles.
Monthly access to Ubisoft Plus costs $17.99.
Until March 28th, you can buy an annual subscription with a 40% discount, which means you will pay only $107.99 instead of the regular price of $179.99.
All new Ubisoft games launch on Ubisoft Plus Premium. So if you are waiting for another upcoming title from the company (Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era) or if you want to play one of their new titles (Star Wars: Outlaws), it’s worth considering this option.
Price of Assassin’s Creed: Shadows on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S
Prices of AC: Shadows don’t depend on the platform you are going to play.
You will pay $69.99 for it on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store. In the last store on the list, you can reduce the price by 20% using a code that costs 100 Ubisoft Units.
In the case of consoles, AC: Shadows pre-order is available in both digital and physical versions. If you don’t care about the box and disc, you can get the digital version in the PS Store for $69.99 or in the Xbox Store for the same price.
It should be noted that with every pre-order of Assassin’s Creed: Shadow, Ubisoft includes the quest “Thrown to the Dogs” (which will be available on the day of the release) and the Claws of Awaji DLC (which will be released later in 2025).
Furthermore, Digital Deluxe Editions of Assassin’s Creed: Shadows are available on all platforms, costing $89.99 on PC, PS5, and XSX/S. They guarantee access to a set of equipment for Yasuke and Naoe, the Sekiryu hideout package, and 5 master points (some of these attractions were included in the aforementioned physical copies of AC: Shadows).
