You Can Grab Four Free Games On Steam Right Now, Including A Battlestar Galactica Title

Although the Steam Summer Sale has ended, there are still opportunities to grab some great deals! At this moment, you can even get four free Steam games temporarily.

These games – Fantasy General II, Field of Glory II: Medieval, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, and Caribbean Crashers – can be yours for free forever on Steam, if you claim them before July 17th.

All the games (except for Caribbean Crashers) share a common publisher, Slitherine, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Steam and specializes in strategy games. The trio of free Slitherine games have garnered positive feedback from users, with Battlestar Galactica Deadlock appearing to be the most acclaimed and well-liked among them.

In Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, a game created by Black Lab Games, players find themselves commanding the Colonial Fleet during the First Cylon War. The objective is to outwit your enemies in intricate, turn-based, and immersive 3D space battles to secure victory. Notably, Black Lab Games is also known for Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, which is now available at a 70% discount.

If you’re not familiar with Battlestar Galactica, Slitherine still offers a variety of other strategy games at a discounted price. These include Starship Troopers: Terran Command and Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance.

Among the games, Caribbean Crashers is the exception as it wasn’t published by Slitherine. Interestingly, it falls within the same timeframe. Out of the Steam games developed by Bloxhill, Caribbean Crashers is one of two and usually retails for $2.
