As a film enthusiast with over three decades of binge-watching under my belt, I must say, the news of Yellowstone potentially returning for Season 6 has me as giddy as a schoolgirl with her first crush!
“Yellowstone” may not be over, after all.
Contrary to earlier announcements that it would be its last, Taylor Sheridan’s popular Western series might make a comeback for Season 6. According to reports, Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are in discussions for prominent roles, as per sources at EbMaster.
At this point, no agreements have been made, but the intention is for “Yellowstone” to carry on past Season 5B, which will air on Nov. 10 on Paramount. In the series, Kelly Reilly portrays Bethany “Beth” Dutton, the daughter of John Dutton III, played by Costner. Josh Harness plays Rip Wheeler, who is Beth’s spouse, an employee, and a problem solver for the Dutton Ranch.
Paramount did not return EbMaster‘s request for comment.
As a devoted movie enthusiast, I must share some disappointing news about the series “Yellowstone.” After an incredible run of five and a half seasons, Kevin Costner has chosen to part ways with the show. This decision comes as a result of Paramount’s choice to split Season 5 into two parts, which conflicted with his work on his upcoming four-part Western film series, “Horizon: An American Saga.”
In August, it was announced that a new TV show called “The Madison” is being developed as a spin-off from “Yellowstone”. This show, initially known as “2024”, will star Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Fox. The story revolves around a family living in the Madison River valley of central Montana, and Paramount describes it as an emotional exploration of grief and human relationships.
“The show ‘Madison’ is teaming up with ‘Yellowstone’ spinoffs ‘1883’ and ‘1923’. Additional series within this TV universe are being planned.”
