You can check out the list below, keep in mind that it’s still under development. Currently, it covers yaolings up to approximately level 20 – but as we delve deeper into the game, this list will grow and expand!

As a gamer, I’d say: When a Yaoling can level up and improve, its initial form is indicated in brackets next to the enhanced Yaoling. Keep in mind that these ratings primarily focus on abilities, speed, power, and so on. Talents can significantly alter a Yaoling’s gameplay, making a seemingly ordinary one stand out among its peers. Best yaolings to level up in Yaoling Mythical Journey

Yaoling Mythical Journey – Best Yaolings Tier List

As a gamer, I’d like to share my personal take on the yaoling rankings based on my gameplay experience. You might find some creatures I’ve placed in lower tiers to be your favorites, and that’s perfectly fine. My tier list is shaped by how these yaolings have performed for me, so keep in mind that every player’s mileage may vary. Also, I’d like to clarify that this list excludes demons since they are not collectible entities within the game.

S-Tier yaolings

An exclusive band of yaolings I’ve assembled has proven indispensable for my party and will most likely join me in the majority of future battles.

Ratzor (Moustrike)

As a gamer controlling the assassin Ratzor, keeping him alive in the heat of battle can be quite a challenge. But when Ratzor goes down, he certainly does so with a bang! When I spot an enemy in the back row, I quickly maneuver Ratzor behind them and unleash a series of brutal attacks. More often than not, these enemies don’t stand a chance against Ratzor’s lethal strikes.

Shelgun (Gunster)

As a devoted fan, I’d describe Shelgun as an impressive mid-range Damage Per Second (DPS) character. However, what truly sets Shelgun apart is its Firing Squad ability. When this skill is activated, two allies materialize beside it and unleash eight shots in quick succession. Not only do these allies provide a significant boost to Shelgun’s power, but they also serve as enticing decoy targets, confusing the enemy and creating an ideal opportunity for Shelgun to wreak havoc.

Roslet

Although Roslet’s skill might seem limited in scope, I’ve frequently observed it making a significant impact on battles. The Whirling Blossom ability bestows a substantial increase in Critical Chance and Critical Damage upon three team members, often tipping the scales in favor of a victory.

A-Tier yaolings

These yaolings will excel in any gathering. If necessary, they can be swapped out or supplemented with more powerful alternatives in specific areas.

Gigantiff (Masstiff)

If you’re searching for an exceptional frontline melee Damage Per Second (DPS) character, your search ends here. This one boasts a powerful ability called Thunderous Roar that hits up to five enemies with substantial damage at random. Additionally, its regular damage is amplified during the activation of this special.

Poshell

“I’m a big fan of Poshell in my party. He deals reliable damage up close and then uses Arcane Molly, an ability that heals teammates while hurting enemies in its vicinity. This eliminates unpredictability as it affects everyone equally.”

Crabrock

If you’re in need of an additional tank or prefer a change from Bax, consider Crabrock as your choice. This character boasts a FrostShell ability that grants it a robust shield, which detonates after a 10-second duration, inflicting substantial damage upon impact.

B-Tier yaolings

As a devoted fan, I’d put it this way: For every B-tier yaoling you hire, you can count on them to deliver a respectable performance without bringing shame upon themselves. Yet, there are top-tier yaolings who excel at the same tasks and offer even greater value. Or perhaps there are specialized yaolings whose unique abilities cater to specific needs that don’t come up frequently in your day-to-day operations.

Tifur

If you manage to overcome the Lord of Flame, you’ll acquire Tifur as a reward. By investing time and energy into evolving it twice, you’ll gain your personal Khanger, boasting an impressive ability: seizing an adversary and slamming it into another for substantial damage.

Didi

Later in the game when you have a larger gathering, Didi is an entertaining newcomer to play with. Its distinctive feature (Grief) provokes amusement as it taunts the most distant opponent and then scampers off. The provoked opponent will pursue Didi, but their reach is shortened by 5 units, and they are prevented from employing their ability during this time.

C-Tier yaolings

As a gamer, I sometimes encounter situationally challenging enemies or bosses with specific damage types that aren’t tough enough as a whole for me to worry about significantly in my leveling journey. In simpler terms, there are certain enemies that don’t pose a considerable threat to my progression in the game.

Kitzember (Cinderkit)

In simpler terms, Kiyzember is an average yaoling with decent but not impressive damage output, limited reach, and possesses a fire-dealing special ability that’s fairly strong. However, due to its lack of uniqueness or excitement, it typically gets replaced in most parties.

Herbunny (Bunbow)

I got along fine with Herbunny serving as a decent long-range damage dealer, until Duskat surpassed it and later was overshadowed by Shelgun. Herbunny was effective in the beginning, but eventually became interchangeable with more engaging alternatives.

D-Tier yaolings

I’d opt against bringing those specific Yaolings with me. Some of them are too specialized and may not provide significant benefits, making the effort to carry them seem unnecessary. Alternatively, there are superior models available in higher tiers that can easily replace them.

Lumina (Lume)

In Yaoling, it’s unnecessary to see Lumina using its healing powers excessively on undamaged teammates, as other unfortunate souls perish around you, making it clear that having random healers is not the best strategy.

Lavenfly (Laventot)

In theory, Lavenfly appears decent with its Lunar Ballet skill transferring Mana to both itself and an randomly chosen ally. However, this benefit tends to be underwhelming and ineffective in actual gameplay situations.
