After the unveiling of the English voice actors for the Director’s Cut of Yakuza 0 on Nintendo Switch 2, Sega has shared a fresh video featuring Akira Nishikiyama’s English rendition. As an enthusiast, I can hardly wait to hear his performance!
In the updated version of Yakuza 0, known as the Director’s Cut, Kaiji Tang will voice the character Akira Nishikiyama during the dialogue scenes. However, in certain specific scenes, Greg Chun will take over to provide the singing voice for Nishikiyama. It’s expected that Sega might release similar videos for other significant characters in Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut as well. Check out the video below showcasing the English dub of Akira Nishikiyama from Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut.

In Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, it’s interesting to note that the same voice actor, Kazuhiro Nakaya, provides the Japanese voices for both Ichiban Kasuga and Akira Nishikiyama in the original Japanese version. On the other hand, for the English dub, Kaiji Tang takes on the roles of both characters, lending his voice to both Ichiban Kasuga and Akira Nishikiyama.
Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut launches simultaneously worldwide on June 5 for Nintendo Switch 2.
