Sega has revealed that two games, namely Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut and Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, will be available as physical copies for Nintendo Switch 2 starting from tomorrow, April 24th. Each game will retail at $49.99, and pre-orders can be placed beginning tomorrow.
Initially, when Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut was unveiled, there was some uncertainty about whether the game would have a physical release or not. However, Sega has now confirmed that both physical and digital pre-orders for it on Switch 2, along with Raidou Remastered, will be available from April 24 at $49.99 each.
Keep in mind, it’s unclear whether the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Raidou Remastered is a full physical game or a digital Game Key Card due to the current state of physical releases on the platform. Additionally, at this point, there has been no information regarding an upgrade path from Switch 1 to Switch 2 for Raidou Remastered. This detail should become clear once pre-orders begin.
1. Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut will become available on Nintendo Switch on June 5th.
2. Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is scheduled to debut for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 (if it exists), regular Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on June 19th.
