Teenager Takumi Sumino lives a mundane life in the Tokyo Residential Complex, where each day is much like the last with no signs of trouble. However, this changes when terrifying monsters attack the town and chaos ensues. A mysterious creature called Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect his loved ones – all he has to do is injure himself!
Suddenly, Takumi finds himself in Last Defense Academy, a massive school nestled amidst flames and surrounded by otherworldly barriers. He is one of 15 students drafted into the Special Defense Unit, tasked with ensuring the academy’s safety for the next 100 days. To do so, they must transform their blood into Hemoanima, a special type of mutated blood that grants supernatural abilities. How far will these students go to regain their normal lives and save the world from the horrific school invaders? The stage is set for 100 days of war and despair…
As Takumi, players will spend their days at Last Defense Academy interacting with classmates and exploring the school grounds during the narrative visual-novel part of the game. During tactical RPG battles against monsters, they’ll use strategic positioning to gain an advantage and sacrifice allies when necessary to unleash powerful finishing moves when faced with seemingly insurmountable odds. Players will navigate a diverse, branching narrative where their decisions can significantly impact Takumi’s story and outcomes during his 100 days at the academy.
