xQc reveals how Kick are punishing viewbotters who think they are getting away with it

As an ardent fan, I’m sharing the news that streaming sensation Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has spilled the beans about Kick’s crackdown on streamers employing viewbots. He claims their sophisticated technology sets a cap on how much income these streamers can earn.

In the realm of streaming, the issue of viewbotting has persisted for quite some time. Some malicious users employ fake audience members to create trouble for streamers, while others, including content creators, utilize this tactic merely to boost their visibility among viewers.

As a dedicated enthusiast, I’ve noticed that platforms have taken firm actions against viewbotters, dishing out severe penalties to individuals caught in the act of falsely boosting their viewership numbers. In fact, Twitch has made it possible for viewers to report streamers directly if they suspect such activity, with viewbotting being one of the reasons provided.

On Kick, the notion of using viewbots to artificially boost viewership in order to generate income may seem appealing, but as per xQc, there are sophisticated methods they employ to prevent such activities from continuing.

xQc claims Kick has “really advanced” anti-view bot tech

During his live stream on June 15th, the Canadian discussed the issue of viewbotting, sharing that he had previously talked to Eddie Craven, the CEO of Kick, about it.

In simpler terms, “xQc said that the Kick bot’s technology is incredibly sophisticated. When users try to manipulate the system, it’s always aware.

They don’t give out unlimited amounts, so it doesn’t benefit you. They calculate the payouts internally, and I had a long conversation with Eddie about this. He showed me all the details. Let me make this clear: The individuals who spam bots excessively have their earnings limited to a specific amount until the issue is resolved. It’s quite astonishing.

In the past, Twitch and Kick star has been vigilant against suspected viewbotters, even going so far as to accuse Kai Cenat’s friends, Rakai and Reggie, of manipulating views to boost their own popularity.

In response to xQc’s claim, Centan retorted it as “strange,” but xQc persisted regardless. However, the matter never escalated further.
