xQc responds after Forsen destroys his Minecraft speedrun record again

Forsen has once again become the person with the most-viewed Minecraft speedrun, beating the previous record by just nine seconds.

The rivalry between streamers Sebastian “Forsen” Fors and Felix “xQc” Lengyel has become legendary, especially within the Minecraft community. For years, they’ve been competing to beat the game as quickly as possible, dramatically lowering the completion time from over an hour to around 14 minutes. xQc took the lead in January 2026, finishing the game in 14 minutes and 27 seconds and jokingly told Forsen to “go back to the freezer.” But Forsen wasn’t ready to give up.

Forsen reclaims Minecraft speedrun record with 14:18

On May 6, 2026, Forsen finished a Minecraft speedrun live on stream in 14 minutes and 18 seconds, beating xQc’s previous record by nine seconds. XQc quickly reacted, posting a video on YouTube titled “FORSEN BEAT MY MINECRAFT SPEEDRUN RECORD?!?”

The competition between these two streamers began in 2020, when they were both achieving times just over an hour. By October 2023, Forsen reached a time of 15 minutes and 28 seconds, a record he held for over two years. In January 2026, xQc finally broke it during a live stream. It took him five hours of trying, and he jokingly tweeted that Forsen wouldn’t be able to surpass it. Forsen responded to the challenge four months later.

Some viewers thought Forsen might not attempt the challenge, referencing old online discussions where he apparently said he’d only return if the record time fell closer to 12 minutes. However, those statements were never officially verified. Now, everyone is wondering if xQc will start trying again.
