Despite hailing from Canada and currently living there, xQc openly criticizes the country and those who aspire to call it home.
Regardless if it’s commenting on Twitch or critiquing fellow content creators, xQc is always unafraid to share his views. However, during his November 12 Kick stream, he surprised viewers with an unexpected opinion about his home city.
xQc mused over the question of why someone might choose to dwell in Canada, despite himself being a resident of the bustling city of Montreal. His speculation stemmed from a video he encountered while streaming, which highlighted the relatively expensive lifestyle that Canada offers.
The video discussed how the country is struggling to combat a housing crisis, which xQc noted as being the cause of “a lot of the problems” locals face today.
Initially, xQc’s remarks were spontaneous responses to the video he was viewing. However, his sentiment shifted when he expressed bewilderment as to why anyone might choose to reside in Canada.
