As someone who has followed xQc’s content for quite some time now, I have to admit that his recent comments about Canada took me by surprise. Born and raised in Montreal, he seems to have forgotten the charm of his hometown, or perhaps he never truly appreciated it.

Despite hailing from Canada and currently living there, xQc openly criticizes the country and those who aspire to call it home.

Regardless if it’s commenting on Twitch or critiquing fellow content creators, xQc is always unafraid to share his views. However, during his November 12 Kick stream, he surprised viewers with an unexpected opinion about his home city.

xQc mused over the question of why someone might choose to dwell in Canada, despite himself being a resident of the bustling city of Montreal. His speculation stemmed from a video he encountered while streaming, which highlighted the relatively expensive lifestyle that Canada offers.

The video discussed how the country is struggling to combat a housing crisis, which xQc noted as being the cause of “a lot of the problems” locals face today.

Initially, xQc’s remarks were spontaneous responses to the video he was viewing. However, his sentiment shifted when he expressed bewilderment as to why anyone might choose to reside in Canada.

Initially, he expressed disapproval towards Toronto, labeling it as “unimpressive” and costly. His astonishment was evident when considering that people might prefer to reside in such a place.

Afterward, he mentioned that he shares a similar sentiment towards Vancouver and Montreal, as these are cities where he was both born and nurtured.

As a gamer, I mentioned during our chat that I’m currently residing here, yet I can’t fathom why others might pick the same spot. Truth be told, I’ve rarely spoken highly of any place I’ve called home before this.

In conversation about his life in Los Angeles, he at one point labeled the city as an “unpleasant, vermin-infested mess” and expressed a preference for residing in Florida rather than LA.

Although xQc has lived in the United States for several years, he’s chosen to return to Canada more recently. However, it appears his relocation hasn’t gone exactly as planned.
