As a longtime Twitch fan and follower of xQc, I must say, this year’s TwitchCon San Diego was a rollercoaster ride of emotions – from heartwarming donations to unfortunate incidents like the one involving xQc and DBR666.
At TwitchCon San Diego, streamer xQc had an unpleasant encounter when a Kick broadcaster pursued him and hurled inappropriate comments, prompting xQc to quickly leave the scene.

So far, it’s been a whirlwind of incredible experiences, such as witnessing Twitch donating an impressive $100K to Maya Higa’s Alveus animal sanctuary. Nevertheless, a particular live-streamer stirred up trouble at the convention by bullying fellow content creators, with popular influencer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel being among those targeted.
During their live stream, DBR666 (Kick streamer) encountered xQc outside the event who was taking pictures with fans. Their conversation turned inappropriate about Lengyel, causing a noticeable reaction of surprise from the surrounding spectators.
In a surprising turn of events, xQc found himself face-to-face with DBR, but instead of engaging, he moved swiftly aside, labeling the unpredictable streamer as “a strange character.
Despite this behavior not appearing to discourage DBR, he persisted in pursuing Lengyel, even as the latter tried to break free from the broadcaster. Meanwhile, they could be heard exclaiming, “I crave attention! Grant me recognition!
In a disturbing incident, a Streamer repeatedly verbally harassed xQc with explicit sexual comments, forcing xQc to physically leave the area due to the escalating situation.

Online fans swiftly criticized DBR’s actions, and it’s not just this instance where they’ve caused discomfort among well-known streamers at TwitchCon.
On that very day, it was asserted by viewers that DBR reportedly committed sexual assault against popular Twitch personalities Nmplol and Wake Wilder. This accusation stems from an incident where he is said to have kissed and tongue-kissed the two streamers during their interaction on the convention floor.
Goodness gracious, that was certainly unusual,” Nmp commented about the incident on Twitter/X. “I kindly ask you not to act in such a manner again. If you feel compelled to express yourself, consider talking it over with someone or simply stay indoors if you find self-control challenging.
Later on, DBR was asked to leave the premises and was guided out by security personnel – a decision they disagreed with as they were led away from the conference.
At the moment I’m writing this, DBR’s Kick channel remains active, indicating that no ban has been imposed on them due to their actions during the event.
Recently, the green platform has made updates aimed at stopping users from misusing their verification status maliciously, and also implemented modifications to improve content moderation across its platform.
