As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for all things esports, I’ve seen my fair share of logo rebrands, and I must admit, FaZe Clan’s latest attempt left me scratching my head. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love a good rebrand as much as the next guy, but this one, well, it looks like something you’d find in a hardware store, not on the battleground of esports. It’s like they took the logo and gave it a good ol’ fashioned wrench-tightening!

But hey, who am I to judge? Maybe I need new glasses. After all, I did once mistake a chicken for a gamer in a dark room. So, let’s just say this rebrand is like a wrench, and I’m still trying to figure out how to unscrew it from my mind.

And as for the color scheme, RGB? Really FaZe? I thought we were past the days of using every color under the rainbow in one logo. It’s like they dumped a bag of Skittles onto their design table and said, “Let’s go with this!”

But hey, that’s just my two cents. Who knows, maybe it’ll grow on me. Or maybe I’ll wake up one day and realize I was dreaming about wrenches all along. Only time will tell! And if you ever see a wrench streaming games, you know who to blame. *wink*

Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, a popular streaming personality, has labeled FaZe Clan’s freshly unveiled logo as “cheesy” following their recent brand makeover.

Over the past twelve months, FaZe Clan has experienced significant transformations. This well-known organization initially went public through investment, but this phase was brief. Unfortunately, the value of FaZe’s shares significantly dropped.

After the shift in power, I found myself right in the midst of a fierce struggle between the newly appointed leaders and the original team members, including FaZe Banks. With FaZe being sold, Banks was reinstated as a leader and swiftly dismissed several members who had joined under the new regime.

After that point, FaZe experienced something of a comeback with players such as Lacy and StableRonaldo. Therefore, their upcoming decision? A new logo design.

xQc dissects FaZe Clan logo rebrand

According to Banks’ explanation, the iconic F logo of FaZe has been slightly modified by rounding off some of its corners. On the other hand, xQc thinks this adjustment seems overly cute or cheesy.

“FaZe rebrand, corny,” he quickly said before taking a proper look at the new changes.

Wow, really? Let me be clear here, this device seems to remind me of Ratchet & Clank or something similar. But honestly, it appears to be a tool, specifically a wrench. It’s the kind you’d use to fix a car or other machinery. I’m not sure, though. Am I off base here? To me, it looks like a wrench. I can see it, and it appears to be a wrench.

xQc expresses his dislike for FaZe Clan’s recent rebrand, describing it as “cheesy” and commenting that their new logo seems to depict a “spanner.” (Wink wink)

Previously renowned Overwatch League player promptly switched his focus from studying the fresh logo upon a momentary glance at the employed color scheme. “RGB, huh? Scram! Scram! Beat it, scramble away,” was his final verdict.

It’s highly unlikely that the KICK streamer will become a member of FaZe Clan any time in the near future, and it seems equally improbable that he will display their emblem during his live broadcasts.

As someone who has spent countless hours engaging with online communities, I can tell you that it’s not uncommon for disputes to escalate quickly, especially when personal egos are involved. The feud between xQc and Ronaldo over a block on X (formerly known as Twitter) is a prime example of this. Given my own experiences navigating online conflicts, I can understand how tensions might rise and lead to counterattacks from FaZe members against the unnamed individual. It’s important to remember that communication and mutual understanding are key in resolving such disputes, and hopefully, they find a way to put their differences aside for the sake of maintaining a positive online presence.
