xQc bites back at fans claiming he’s not the ‘same guy’ anymore

Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, a popular streaming personality, has countered a critic who suggested he’s changed significantly due to his decision not to engage in perpetual streaming sessions. He asserts that this change is merely a shift in his approach rather than a transformation of his essence.

For established streamers, whether on Twitch or other platforms, maintaining fresh content over time can pose a challenge. Initially, they might have attracted an audience through excelling at a particular game; however, that game could lose its appeal or they might wish to explore new experiences.

Initially, xQc’s success can be attributed to the debut of Overwatch. Rapidly climbing the ranks, he proved himself to be among the top Winston players and eventually earned a spot in the Overwatch League as one of its members.

Over time, his work has noticeably evolved. He’s tackled a wide range of topics, including real-life experiences, gambling, popular games, and even hosting his own game program.

xQc addresses complaint about length of his streams

Currently, he divides his time between Twitch and KICK, engaging in a mix of games and usually dedicating around an hour to responding to videos and addressing related drama.

His live broadcasts remain quite lengthy, as evidenced by the 11-hour session divided across two platforms on March 12. Yet, a viewer commented, “Folks, he might not be the same as before. No more marathon streams!”

It’s not clear what that statement meant to xQc. He questioned, “What on earth does that mean? ‘He won’t be the same person he used to be.’ Brother, how can you get angry over an 11-hour live stream?” He exclaimed, “There’s no way that could happen. This is just absurd. That’s ridiculous.

xQc divides his streaming schedule between Twitch and KICK, typically beginning his live broadcasts on Twitch (the Amazon-owned platform) initially, then transitioning to KICK later on in the day.

He is still regularly streaming for 10-12 hours a day, it’s just split into two portions.

Previously, there were critiques concerning his content, particularly about live-streamed gambling. Numerous fans expressed dissatisfaction. Yet, he seems to have shifted focus and now spends more time playing other games instead.
