On Xbox consoles, we can expect further enhancements in the Discord integration as Microsoft introduces new features for its Insider program this week. Starting from now, users in the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings will be able to watch Discord streams directly on their Xbox. However, it’s currently unclear when these updates will become available to the public at large.
Additionally, Microsoft announced that linking your Discord and Xbox accounts allows your Discord friends to show up in your Friends list. You’ll see them when you’re playing a game or using a voice channel on Discord. This feature enables Xbox users to join Discord voice channels without needing the app on their smartphone or computer.
Approximately two years ago, Discord made its debut on Xbox. In September of last year, Xbox introduced a feature that enabled gamers to broadcast their gameplay on Discord.
