Xbox PC app will soon let you play games from Steam, Battle.net & more

The Xbox app for PC will soon allow direct access to both your Steam and Battle.net gaming libraries, however, this feature is only available to members of the Xbox Insider program at present.

On June 8, 2025, Microsoft’s Xbox announced their collaboration with Asus for designing a lineup of portable gaming devices under the ROG Xbox Ally brand.

In addition to unveiling their latest gadgets, Microsoft also revealed an upgrade for their Xbox PC app. This enhancement enables users to browse games from platforms like Steam and Battle.net directly within the application itself.

Enthusiasts have been anxiously anticipating updates about the potential partnership between Xbox, and on June 23rd, Monday, their wait came to an end at last.

Xbox PC app makes finding your games even easier

“With the aggregated gaming library, players can conveniently launch games from Xbox, Game Pass, Battle.net, and other leading PC storefronts from a single library within the Xbox PC app,” Xbox said in a blog post.

Regardless if you’re using a Windows computer or a portable gadget, you can easily access your Xbox game collection, numerous Game Pass games, and all the titles you’ve purchased from top PC marketplaces.

The update is available for Xbox Insiders only, so you’ll have to sign up for the program if you haven’t already.

The Xbox PC application is going to start consolidating your video game collection. Soon, this application will enable you to view all the games you possess on platforms like Xbox PC, Battle.net, Steam, and others, right within a single application.
