Xbox Game Hellblade 2 Coming To PS5 Soon

Microsoft has disclosed that the upcoming Xbox game destined for PlayStation is titled Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. This game is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5 during summertime.

Microsoft announced that the game will be tailored for both PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles. Simultaneously, a complimentary update will roll out on all platforms – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC – at the same time as the game’s launch on PS5. This update will introduce new functionalities, but Ninja Theory hasn’t disclosed what these features entail yet.

Initially, the Hellblade video game debuted on PlayStation 4 back in 2017. For a while, it was only accessible through Sony’s console ecosystem. However, by 2018, it had expanded its availability to Xbox platforms, and by 2019, it could also be played on Nintendo Switch.

Ninja Theory expressed their eagerness to reintroduce Senua in the place where her story originated, allowing PlayStation gamers to live through the next harrowing installment of her survival tale.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve got to admit, it feels pretty great being part of the Microsoft crew this April 2025! Four out of the top five, and five out of the top seven best-selling games for PS5 in the US are from our stable. It’s a testament to the quality of games we’re putting out there.

In April, two major releases, Forza Horizon 5 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, experienced significant growth on the US sales charts after their launch on PS5 that month. Forza Horizon 5 climbed from the 42nd best-seller overall in March to the second spot in April, while Indiana Jones and the Great Circle moved up from 118th in March to No. 6 in April, as reported by Circana.

In the future, Microsoft plans to make additional Xbox games available on PlayStation systems, such as Gears of War Reloaded, scheduled for launch on the PlayStation 5 in August.
