As a seasoned wrestling enthusiast and movie buff with over three decades of watching WWE, I can confidently say that these new collaborations between WWE and A&E are nothing short of a dream come true for fans like myself. The expansion of their programming partnership promises to deliver even more gripping content that dives deep into the world of professional wrestling.

WWE and A&E will be enhancing their collaborative TV lineup by introducing not one, but two fresh shows. Furthermore, they’ll also be producing additional episodes for the popular series “WWE Rivals.

To start off, we have “WWE LFG,” which stands for “Legends & Future Greats.” This competition show will feature emerging wrestling talents competing for a WWE contract. Paul Levesque, also known as Triple H, and Shawn Michaels will appear in the series, along with coaches including The Undertaker, Booker T, Mickie James, and Bubba Ray Dudley. Every week, these coaches will guide the talents in weekly matches. Levesque, Michaels, Lee Fitting, Ben Houser, and Jeremy Borash are executive producers for the series, while Elaine Frontain Bryant and Brad Abramson serve as executive producers for A&E.

Coming soon, the new show titled “WWE’s Most Memorable Moments” is set to air on A&E. This half-hour series will be led by WWE commentator Michael Cole, delving into some of the most unforgettable instances in the company’s past. Notable figures such as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Owens, and others have been announced as guests for this show.

In ‘WWE’s Greatest Moments,’ Michael Cole, a renowned commentator in WWE, will host 30-minute episodes, bringing together popular WWE figures such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Owens, and others, to discuss and reminisce about the most unforgettable incidents from wrestling history.

Levesque expressed his delight about A&E being a great fit for WWE content, and he’s thrilled about collaborating with their outstanding team on fresh show ideas and the upcoming season of WWE Rivals,” says Levesque.

In the upcoming seasons of “Rivals”, we’ll delve into intense rivalries featuring iconic wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior, along with the clash between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

In addition to producing “Rivals” and “Greatest Moments,” Levesque is also joined by Fitting, Houser, and Marc Pomarico in the executive producer role. On the other hand, Frontain Bryant, Abramson, and Jonathan Partridge hold the executive producer position for both shows on behalf of A&E.

Filled to the brim with blood, sweat, and tears, there’s no other series that blends ring action, backstage reality, intense drama, and some of WWE’s most iconic figures into one package,” said Rob Sharenow, head of programming at A+E Networks. “From rookies to veterans, ‘LFG’ will offer a genuine, all-encompassing perspective on the grueling journey to succeed in the WWE. Our partnership with WWE has struck a nerve with viewers, and we’re thrilled to keep creating top-quality content that appeals to a wide audience.

The WWE-themed shows and specials will only broadcast on A&E networks’ platforms, with global distribution handled by A+E Networks. Interestingly, all these series are manufactured specifically for A&E by the WWE.
